It's hard to ask for help. It's not insanity. This is familiar. It will pass. So why go to a counselor? After all, I've come this far in life without counseling.

Sometimes, a problem is beyond our control, like the death of a loved one. Maybe we're looking for acceptance.
Sometimes, we just feel stuck. We're looking for a way out.

Years ago, more of us had extended families. We could talk to a family member or maybe a religious advisor. There was usually someone to talk to. But today we live far apart. We don't always have a religious affiliation or relationship.

At the very least, counseling provides an objective, but caring professional ear. At it's best, it changes and enhances ones life in way that could only be dreamed of.

"If you think you or a loved one might benefit from counseling,
please do not hesitate to contact a professional"
